How do I make it?
-
Dice the onions and avocado
-
Take a pan and melt the 1/2 tbsp butter on medium flame
-
Sautee the onions in the pan till they turn a little brown
-
Take the onions out of the pan and let them cool down
-
In the meantime, crack the eggs in a bowl and add salt and pepper
-
Whisk the eggs till they turn milky and creamy
-
Add the cooled down onions from step 4 and avocados from step 1 to the egg mixture in the bowl
-
Take a pan and melt the butter (1/4 tbsp) on medium-low flame.
-
Once the butter has melted, pour half of the the egg mixture to the pan.
-
Make sure to keep the flame more towards the lower side, to avoid over cooking the omelet
-
After about 3-4 mins check if the lower side is well cooked
-
Flip the omelet. I sometimes like to butter my spatula a little to avoid the omelet from slipping off and breaking
-
Cook till the other side is done per your taste
-
Repeat steps 8-13 for more omelets
-
