How do I make it?

-
Dice the onions finely (1cm long)
-
Take a deep pan and boil enough water such that the potato would completely submerge.
-
Cut the potato into half and add it to the deep pan. Cook for 15 mins or until 90% cooked. Check by forking the potato
-
Heat another pan on medium-low flame and melt the ghee in it
-
Once the ghee has melted add cumin and let it cook for a couple of mins. It is cooked when you can smell cumin
-
Now add onions and sautee till they turn golden brown. Keep the flame on medium
-
Add salt, garam masala, coriander powder, chilli powder, turmeric, garlic powder and mix well
-
By this time the potato wold have been cooked. Take it out of hot water and wash it under cold water. Peel the skin off and dice it into 1 inch cubes
-
Add the diced potatoes to the pan and mix well. Cover with lid and cook on a medium-low flame for 15 mins. Keep stirring every 5-10 mins
