How do I make it?

  1. Dice the onions finely (1cm long)

  2. Take a deep pan and boil enough water such that the potato would completely submerge.

  3. Cut the potato into half and add it to the deep pan. Cook for 15 mins or until 90% cooked. Check by forking the potato

  4. Heat another pan on medium-low flame and melt the ghee in it

  5. Once the ghee has melted add cumin and let it cook for a couple of mins. It is cooked when you can smell cumin

  6. Now add onions and sautee till they turn golden brown. Keep the flame on medium

  7. Add salt, garam masala, coriander powder, chilli powder, turmeric, garlic powder and mix well

  8. By this time the potato wold have been cooked. Take it out of hot water and wash it under cold water. Peel the skin off and dice it into 1 inch cubes

  9. Add the diced potatoes to the pan and mix well. Cover with lid and cook on a medium-low flame for 15 mins. Keep stirring every 5-10 mins

  10. Serve your Jeera Aloo with Paleo Poori (See Recipe) and Love.
